C1- 5th PRIMARY SCHOOL OF RHODES, GREECE: Safer Internet Day - Netiquette- eSafety

 

On Monday, October 12, 2026, the students of class G1 attended an online seminar on the safe use of the internet, conducted by the Hellenic Safer Internet Center (SaferInternet4kids.gr).

The seminar focused on the safe navigation of the internet by minors, covering the following specific topics:

     Prevention and management of risks associated with new technologies,

    Pitfalls lurking on social networking sites,

    Online sexual coercion and extortion,

    The phenomenon of cyberbullying,

    Online gaming and addiction to it,

    Protection against online falsehoods (fake news and deepfakes),

    Respect for intellectual property rights online.
