C1- 5th PRIMARY SCHOOL OF RHODES, GREECE: Students celebrate Erasmus Days 2026
With great joy and enthusiasm, the 5th Primary School of Rhodes took part this year in the global Erasmus Days initiative, a celebration dedicated to European cooperation, friendship, learning, and cultural exchange!
The students of classes G1 (teacher: E. Papazachariou) and E2 (teacher: A. Christou) took the lead in organizing this special day. With creativity, dedication, and great enthusiasm, they prepared activities that took us on a journey across Europe.
Our younger and older students worked together wonderfully, proving that the Erasmus spirit has no age limits! Among the activities were creative posters, as the children painted the flags of European countries and decorated the school corridors with their colourful creations.
Alongside the other Erasmus Days activities, the students were introduced to the new European eTwinning project, “A Galaxy of Life Skills,” in which our school is participating. As part of this project, the students will become mentors to little aliens arriving on Earth!
Through fun and engaging missions, the children will teach their new “friends” important life skills, such as empathy, friendship, environmental protection, and safe internet use.
Through these activities, the children experienced first-hand the importance of inclusion, solidarity, and multiculturalism. The collaboration between classes G1 and E2 showed that when we work together, we can achieve wonderful things!
